hi guys thanks for the help,first i changed the administrator setting and then tried restarting,presto it worked.now while i was in prot2 i have a problem with not being able to close the page where we all look for %gainers and $gainers and volume and so on, im sure you no which one i mean. i am not too concerned about it but i dont like it because i like every thing to work how it was designed to work, anyway i just drag and drop it off the screen as far as i can to keep working,so unless anyone can fix that i can live with it so far until the next nightmare on trader street turns up.thanks for your help and feed back.i rang commsec and spoke to the rep and he logged my query and said their tech staff would get back to me well this is the second day and still havent heard from them, so as you could understand hc is the place to start for anserwers because their would be alot of people who have just been through the same thing cheers guys talk later.
