windsor desperate to distance himself

Just heard ABC's early AM program, Windsor was interviewed and sounded like he was desperate to not be made a part of the carbon tax affair.

Yesterday's polling results have hit a raw nerve me thinks and he was working very hard to affirm that he is an independent, taking swipes at the methodology in working towards coming up with co2 tax policy (gee tony, why sound so disappointed - remember pink bat policy?) and taking aim at Abbott to keep the balance.

A class act indeed, this guy knows how to stay clean ... but the timing of his remarks after the dreadful poll for Labor reeks of desperation to win back his constituents.
