Perhaps the full impact of that he's done in following his cousin Bruce Hawker's requirements and voting Gillard on to her throne is now catching up with him.
There are times, one would imagine, when he has to attend functions, etc. in his electorate, have person to person encountersm walk down the main street, and look people in the eye. This must be becoming increasingly difficult for him.
