I could care less about this debate, its going nowhere. But I have to say that Tony Windsor was the one who broke the model that politicians should represent the interests and views of their constituents above their own personal views in parliament. That trust is gone forever now, courtesy of Tony Windsor. Trust in all politicans has been dealt an irreversible blow.

In the Tamworth area, a lot of people are absolutely ashamed that they voted for him for so long, because in the end they feel decieved, rightly or wrongly. People who would never have voted for a Gillard government, found their member actually making her the Prime Minister. Honourable or not, respect for him is almost zero in his home territory.

Why was his electorate office in Tamworth main street, closed and dark during the most exposed time of the year, during the Tamworth Country Music Festival, when thousands walk up and down the closed-off street? Most politicains would revel in the opportunity.
