I opened a bottle of red maybe Thursday and drank about half of it. Since then I've been drinking a white but today I went back to the red for lunch. Having a pre-lunch taste, it struck me how it tasted much the same as when I opened it. This is good news, not that I ever thought much about it, because when you're the only wine drinker it means you can save an opened bottle without fear of it being wasted. But maybe the variety has an influence here, so I point out this is a Malbec, which maybe stores better.
