With Dewali over, i thought the lads would have poured themselves a glass and confirmed with Akida the two varietals. A quick 'Cheers' and fade to camera would have been nice BUT as Shania Twain said, this dont impress me much. Early days i know, but i want then to sample the Shotfore Quartage, made up of four varietals. Then when Akida picks those i will be truly impressed. Kardonnay and Sheeraz just happen to be the most popular skins to get you off your rocker if you guzzle enough. Until that happens, i will leave it to the bushy eyebrowed icon Jimmy Halliday and his group of fermented grape imbibers.
