Just comparing the in ground value of cobalt and nickel at Wingellina with other similar resources in Australia, it has circa $34 billion in ground resource. The second closest to it would be CLQ's sunrise, at $20 billion.
However, its scoping study in 2007 reported a CapEx of $2.5 billion dollars, surpassing most of its peers. That is more than the Capex of ARL, AUZ and CLQ combined together. The JORC values are also based on a 0.5% nickel cutoff grade, similar to ARL.
