I know it's not really a recognized number but I have noticed a strong correlation with 500 days and multiples there of between the lows coming into the 2002 bear and the big lows of this bear. I have noticed 500 days popping up elsewhere as well. I based that, of course, on a radius of an armstrong cycle........I count 500 days from the capitulation day of 16 august 2007 and 28th dec 2008. that will be a sunday so the 29th will be the closest trading day.

maybe another tick for the 29th being the turn ??
