    The NTC team should be congratulated on this win.

    I tried to figure out how much NTC is charging for each communication card and assuming the size of project is 110,000 units (as per the latest investor presentation) it works out to be approximately $110/card.

    Looking forward, the Verizon pilot is for 1,000 units but the total prize is 7-9 million units. Even a small slice of the $700M-900M pie would have a significant impact on NTC's revenues.

    I think the next deal that could be a winner for NTC is the DEWA smart meter project (estimated at 1+ million units). I think I found the tender on the DEWA website but I am not 100% sure if its the same M2M opportunity referred to in the investor presentation. The number of units don't seem to match but given Etisalat are listed there with 3 tenders there is a good chance it is. You will notice that the tender closed on 25-Feb-13 and tenders are valid for 120 days so a decision should be known in the next month or two.
