Same meme is posted about about climate science, and guess what's being invested in globally....you guessed it, batteries and storage for the energy transition.
Recession or not, the money is flowing in to such projects regardless of domestic economics, as it is EVs, which are growing regardless of recession-speak as the wealthy can afford them, and more often than not that's who's currently buying them, retirees and professionals. I know of several who just did, even amongst current pressures. I will be soon.
You just seem to down-ramp things further than they are in reality.
