This should b verified by oil shows from the cuttings & increase in gas readings of C1 to C5 on the gas chromatograph. This basically tells u that HC's r present. What one needs here is commercial & movable quantity of HC's which is confirmed from the WL logs & fluid sampling. Hope this helps.
