Interesting read TaneNui.. so they have one test approved .. but the whole system is also approved.. so from there they just need to get each test approved..
also im pretty sure this is not a POC device but its hard to find any images of the machine but from my previous research into Theranos im 99.9999999999% sure this is lab testing not POC testing.. i stand to be corrected tho.. but clearly this is a much cheaper and quicker option than currently exists for the HSV test.. and it is their aim/mission to provide cheap lab testing and onsite rather than offsite..
Interesting point is that they seem to think results within hours is quick.. i guess the benchmark previously was days..
just saying... imagine if it was within minutes on a handheld device in your doctors office and not in hospital....
