i dont really understand why people rabbit on about the technical superiority of FTTH to wireless, no argument even exists when you consider non-mobile usage
the key argument for wireless is satisfying as many users needs as possible for the smallest amount of money
the NBN spend is huge, if it wasnt I wouldnt be waving the wireless flag at all. its all about economics and the economics of running fibre to 30% of homes who will never connect up to it is just plain wasteful no matter how hard you want to spin it
if 2/3rds of the the NBN spend is the 'last mile' (FTTH), we are in for some really serious money wasting
