thatsgold: Sorry, but I completely disagree. FAR cannot and should not "drill a well for themselves"! They are NOT qualified at all to do off-shore drilling of very costly wells!
What the plan should be IMHO (but IF Mbawa will turn out to be a duster there will be less opportunity in this) is to farm out L6 to a strong partner that can do a deep-sea drill and become free-carried in the process. Lower percentage but minimizes the big risk. All JIMHO, of course.
Also, IMHO, they should sell or finally find a farm-in partner for their Jamaican grounds (if those have any real values - which is not at all clear to me...). Jamaica should/will not be the FOCUS but off-shore East- and West-Africa is.
