I'm sure PC43 will answer your question in more detail if required, but to put it simply, Arc had to increase mud weight to control the amount of gas, so the fact that they had to do this indicates that they had a lot of gas to deal with.
Because of this though, it's quite possible that this is what led to an inconclusive outcome when it comes to how much gas they have got down there.
