I still think that really the ball is in China's court. If the Chinese are still happy for Hanlong to take over Sundance then Hanlong will still be the suitor, and the steel mills won't bid over the top.

My view is that Hanlong will get reprimanded by the Chinese but the takeover will still go ahead. The Chinese won't let this hiccup get in their way, they won't want 50% of the project to stay out of their hands, it's simply worth too much. Shortly we will see a higher bid (maybe 60-70c) with fewer conditions, and our management will say to accept it.
