I'm very new to trading. One of my first trades was 1000 shares...

I'm very new to trading. One of my first trades was 1000 shares of TSM at 50c.
I was scared to buy more of a stock that's traded so little, but it seems to be doing well and have so much potential??

I want to buy a heap more since the price hasn't taken off despite what seems to me a good announcement?? (Or is that why it got to 69c - and everyone knows before the official announcement??)
