I agree with you on Asia, they will drive the world growth overall and the US will just slowly become background noise, however the transition period will be a bumpy road as they still are the biggest economy, one day hopefully the world will take no notice of the yanks when their markets tank, this will be the greatest day when the world finally can just ignore them and get on with business with developing nations like china, india, brazil etc. Like ou said these developing economys have huge populations are hungry for raw materials
