Great win by Birdon! Not part of ASB, and I doubt that Austal would’ve put in a bid on these smaller 20 metre steel vessels. It appears Birdon has some sort of alliance with Bollinger who do compete with Austal but in the much larger shipbuilding segment. Great to see the US making such great use of Australian knowhow!
