It astounds me what actually falls "within the guidelines"

VIP flights to grandfinals

Sham public appearances so you conveniently can attand fund raisers / meet donors

Family trips to holiday resorts / overseas

Campaigning for UN positions when you look like losing an election

Campaining for State based colleagues.

The list goes on.............



The common theme is that alot of these trips are in the politicians self interest and NOT in the public interest.

Instead of saying it falls within the guidelines, someone needs to rewrite teh damn guidelines!
