I see the Biotron thread is still doing what it does best: nothing. But its good for a laugh, especially some of the above posts. I'll have to drop in more often. But the reason I don't, and like I've said previously, is that there is nothing more to say until relevant news arrives.
In the mean-time, the void from news is filled in by the above type posts. So predictable.
I havn't in fact traded BIT. I'm running at a loss. I bought more in the low 8's or high 7's. I'm not counting. I havn't bought more since. I may do so if I find the courage, and if I free some funds.
I didn't trade BIT when it peaked in the mid teens last year as I thought it would go higher, regardless of my above quoted statement when I first came to BIT: "I'll trade the shite out of it, like MJ has, then he left". Unlike him, I havn't left.
I'm not much of a trader, even though I've taken to some day trading this year. When I'm on HC, I'm on the DT these days, or the STT. January was quite good for day trading, but I'm sitting under on all my Li stocks since. I tipped them in the STT comp earlier in the year (CXO, ASN, PNN), and they all came home. However, I only sold one. They are all much lower since. So much for my trading skills.
MSB was my main stock throughout last year, and I traded it regularly, but it all came to nought when it dramatically collapsed, twice.
As for BIT's future, who knows? Yes, it's hard to argue that they can't be more forthcoming in results/news, when we consider the very long HIV progress, but it is also hard to write it off as a failure. That program may still prove very successful. We could go down the same argumentative road with SARS2, although we could say that HIV is considerably more advanced, after all, a successful phase 2 is quite an achievement. COVID on the other hand is still quite young, but anything is still possible. I don't think there is much more we can say other than no news is good news.
But I'll try regardless.
If no news is good news, then Biotron's SARS2 testing is coming along just fine
. The more related papers I read by other researchers, the more lenient I become towards Biotron for the wait. What they are doing is very complex with a squillion variables to be factored in. However, like I've said before, not long now.......
If it turns out a fizzer, we'll learn another lesson about spec stocks. If its a winner, then you're all invited to the cave to hang out a little. Critics included, so that you can question me more, and I can batshite on your silly assumptions.
