They were not animal tested. As with most of these new compounds, after the effectiveness is worked out, the dose becomes the biggest factor.
Recent announcements explained the tox/dose issue clearly. They put that there for good reason. We already know from very early trials and lab work that very high doses were used to gain success and those doses have had to come down. That’s why they tried as low as 100mg.
So, one has to wonder if the compounds are effective at a dose that is not toxic. The people at Doherty will hold a very high standard when it comes to following up drugs through preclinical animal testing.
I don’t think that Biotron discovered the E protein.
