The company is issuing 'free shares' in-specie to shareholders who buy up before 19 February 2007.

There will only be 43,883,270 shares on issue. There will be no public float.

ARU has a JORC compliant resource, and acquired their uranium tenements LONG, LONG BEFORE yellow cake fever hit the market. So they cannot be accused of jumping on the band wagon, as they have had these assets all along.

They are spinning off the new entity (called NuPower) in order to:

a) extract value for shareholders; but more importantly

b) focus on their Nolan's Bore rare earths project (which is probably in itself, one of the most undervalued projects on the ASX).

The theoretical value ARU has given to its uranium assets is a piddly $7.3million, and they are pricing that their stock will be worth 20 cents.

This is definitely worth a look.
