The Governement of Tanzania will secure 16% of Lindi, This is the Free Carried Interest.
In simple terms, they are a 16% shareholder of the Tanzania company. These shares have not been issued.
Anytime Lindi makes a profit where WKT would like to return funds back to the parent company (ASX : Walkabout Resources) 16% is paid to the Government and 84% is paid to Walkabout. Out of WKT's 84% share, they can spend this on what ever they like, they don't have to pay any dividends to its ASX listed shareholders.
