    I consider it my grog and smoke fund, it's money I can live without. If people want the chance to win big or lose big in a very short time, go to the casino. If people want the chance to win big in the longer term, invest. The ROI is higher, but the time scales are also larger which increases the chance of failure. Thankfully you can sell, but people appear to panic and it affects everyone connected, which further increases the risk.

    Tldr: if you can't live without it, don't live with it
