Upstream are reporting that the negotiations with ExxonMobil over the US$13B P'nyang gas project are over with no deal.
Time has run out for ExxonMobil and they will invest elsewhere.
That means in effect that Stanley cannot be exploited not that HZN has unchallenged ownership to it anyway
Many posters here have complained that the WLNG was never given value in the HZN SP.
Now it certainly won't be.
HZN should get out of PNG imo
Sell off WLNG assets to Kumul and certainly not invest another cent in PNG.
High sovereign risk and self-destructive approach to its biggest money deals.
An era is over.
