Wellness and Beauty Solutions’ beauty products to hit supermarket shelves in 2019

Under the two-year deal, the company’s (ASX:WNB) stable of beauty brands will be represented by strategic management and distribution agency – Beauty Connections – to Australia’s supermarkets, represented by over 1,800 retail doors country-wide. WNB’s brand portfolio includes a diverse range of self-tanning, cosmetic and skincare products for the retail and professional markets.

The company says it also has other brands currently under development or poised for launch in the near term.Christine Parkes, Wellness and Beauty Solutions’ Managing Director tells * the deal provided an exciting opportunity to extend WNB’s retail footprint beyond pharmacies –which currently includes Chemist Warehouse and Priceline – onto supermarkets shelves around Australia.“We are delighted to partner with such a high-calibre distribution agency, and we expect the extension of our retail footprint to supermarkets to deliver a significant uplift in our beauty brand sales in 2019.”

Putting products on supermarket shelves Australia-wide Beauty Connections represents and distributes beauty and wellness brands in all major Australian national retailers, including Woolworths, Coles, Target, Priceline and Big W as well as distribution capabilities in South East Asia.It will be responsible for warehousing, delivery and account management of the WNB retail brands it represents to retailers.

Both companies will also explore the potential to extend distribution offshore, where Beauty Connections already has an established footprint.
