Selling begets selling, just as buying begets more buying.
That the broker couldn't generate enough buying to halt the slide has resulted in more nervous selling. It will also probably create more resistance areas once we do bottom. They have gone from doing a good job, to doing an ordinary job, bit of a pity really.
News flow will obviously help, but having fallen so far, IMO it will no doubt mean the the road back up will now be much tougher and slower than it otherwise would have been.
