Paying double the market cap, I dont think so Kikker. Its the end chemical (hydrox) that ALB are fartoring in to what their paying, which will look like a bargain once at nameplate (i.e. 50ktpa of hydrox at $18k pt). Thats where the dollars are, and wouldn't be surprised if ALB Chile operations becomes a takeover target.The land down under is a very interesting place atm (based on Hydroxide preferred feed, thus demand growth), as per binwood, highly likely more consolidation in Oz Li space to come.
