Who says all women are angels? You are making it a man versus women thing when it is a power struggle. It is clearly a power imbalance, which is so obvious for near every single type of crime. What women go through is similar to what child sex abuse victims, veterans and whistleblowers go through if they try to expose wrongs committed by those in power.
It is exactly how it works. And it is when people realise that their worldview is shattered and that is what causes trauma. The reality that society protects and values people in different measure.
A veteran is a hero until they tell how it really is then they are traitor, expected to have their lives ruined so those in power can continue without question. Like women they are expected to deny themselves justice to protect the power structure. They are structural problems and in a healthy fair society the support would be for the victims.
