Who do the most to promote and bankroll wokeism in society today. The Corp/Business Class is who. Disney, Blackrock, Vanguard, Goldman Sachs, Google, Facebook, Pepsi, Target, Unilever, Mars, Mattel, Bud Light, Gillette, Nike and that's just the very tip of the iceberg. Are they Communists/Marxists? Absurd!
And make no mistake what you see and hear on your TVs, Radios, internet and newspapers tells only a fraction of the story. If you want a job, be it with the Govt or most any business establishment, esp big business establishments, you must sign up to their woke ideology or there's no work for you. And by this I dont just mean that you're required at every gathering to pay your respects to indigenous elders both past and present. No its far worse than that. You have to accept that there exists a toxic patriarchy, toxic whiteness, gender fluidity and the inherent goodness of the LGBTQS++XYZ community. Its getting worse and eventually if you want a livelihood you will have to sign up to these things, as indeed many of you are already in that position.
So why are they doing this? Look at what happened to Disney, Bud Light and Gillette when they publicly went all crazy woke (and there are many other examples). Their sales plummeted and in the case of Disney and Bud Light, they may never recover commercially. All this is to say that I don't believe that its profitability that's motivating the Corporate/Business Elite to ram wokeism down our throats. Its much more sinister than that. ,
Do you remember when the 2008 GFC hit. A spontaneous movement arose (Occupy Wall Street) because people rightly blamed the greed of banks and financial institutions for the worldwide economic collapse and people were determined to stop Govts bailing out the culprits who caused the collapse (but alas, predictably Govts did bail them out) and more importantly people were openly questioning whether its the capitalist system that lies at the very heart of our problems.
So what happened next? Despite people struggling with the devastating effects of the GFC on their economic well being, politicians and mainstream media turned its focus to identity politics; gay marriage, feminism, and of course anti racism.
Those movements have grown from strength to strength since the GFC and it seems no matter how many changes are made to address their claims (some legitimate, but most bogus) there are always a new set of grievances and "remedies" on their agenda, ensuring that identity politics and wokeism is here to stay for many years to come.
And this is an excellent outcome for the wealthy ruling class. Wokeism and why they promote and bankroll wokeism is because it distracts, and more importantly, divides the 99%. Divide and conqueror. Immediately after the GFC, a growing number of people accepted that the economic system and the wealthy ruling class are the enemy to 99% of us. But since then the woke movement has dramatically fractured the 99% so that to a growing number of women they see men as their real enemy and oppressors, to blacks its whites and to gays etc its straights. AND a critical part of this strategy is to single out men and masculinity for the most demonization and vilification. Why? Because within the 99%,its men who represent the biggest threat
to the continued rule by our Rulers.
Civilization and the enormous infrastructure and wealth we enjoy today is 99% due to the 99%. But with the growth of automation and AI, the 99% is becoming increasingly more irrelevant and instead of us enjoying the fruits of what we have achieved, the wealthy ruling class will progressively wonder why they should allow us to continue depleting their resources and defecating all over their planet. So, I firmly believe that our survival depends on us taking back whats ours by taking on the wealthy ruling class.
