Theres definately gas there so the risk is reduced dramatically. Independent experts conservatively estimate that just in PRL2 which includes the Wombat field there is 1.7 Tcf.
Its nice to have BPT who are now experts in fraccing leading the way. Remember they will be spending up to $50m, so its fair to say they are pretty confident in developing a commercial field which as you said is close to the Melbourne market.
