Many similar examples of this subdivision of labour via sex stereotyping of tasks could be provided by me, but you get my point. Men can more easily shift a table and women can bake better cakes. And such are my generalisations... So what? My ability to teach was at least on par with those of my male colleagues and thus deserved my pay cheque to be equivalent to theirs.

All correct....in teaching. You are right about women doing more cooking etc. Blokes probably move into more senior poitions because their desire to do so is higher. People at the top arent smarter or better, they just want it more. Men are more competitive.
