"its not talent". ...... pretty difficult to determine that women do not have merit. pre-selections by electorate party members in the Labs seems to be free and democratic. the members decide who represents them.

wheres the interview I linked above explains the bias, and the federal Lib party overruling the branch members, when deciding candidates.

in Lib seats it seems that talented women are only allowed to be candidates in marginal seats, whereas safe seat candidates continue to have men as candidates.

its the lack of application of targets for female representation that is one of the key factors holding the Liberal Party back from having a chance at the next election.
