g'day MS.... teh preselections have been so manipulated since Howard lost his seat that it seems they are deliberately choosing Cash -like candidates. I wonder what the branch members feel/think about this. and yet, of course, they shout about how membership selects candidates..... maybe some seats come from the electorate, but the recent selection in Cook certainly calls out the lie.
and this has been the way in both major parties for quite a while, although the loss of Kennealy (couldn't happen to a more suitable apparatchiki) seems to have rattled the Lab cage and made 'em think a bit...... p'raps the Libs need to think about this too for a bit? wots the, uh.... deal.
