while women do have much to the happy about, there remains a lot of change that needs to occur.
safety from brutality is No.1 imo - over decades I have changed from a sexist bully as a young man. women have the right not to be harassed at work, in the grocery stores, or at home. they don't need to be controlled.
women here tend to avoid being noticed as women. I think I can understand why but I'm unsure - my guess is they avoid being labelled as women and so judged. if this is the case, I think it's very unfortunate and it says a lot about the culture on these threads.
I hope to celebrate women today and the advances they/we have all achieved to enable equality: and to discuss what needs to be achieved.
