It is definitely better than it has ever been, but there it is hard to say that women are on an equal footing yet - just look at parliament, senior execs and directors, and pay gaps between men and women in the same roles. Anyway, my point was that it’s illogical to think that if women do rise, then men wouldn’t have to concede ground. There are just so many positions to go around and there is no use ignoring the fact that people should find their level - Morrison is just dog whistling here plain and simple.
