Hi All
I am considering a long term investment in MAK but having some troubles with the project numbers.
If they initially want to produce rock phosphate and direct ship ore (DSO) from Wonarah then what is the cost of production going to be? Surely not A$121/tonne as detailed on page 20 of their presentation of the 13th September 2010.

My understanding is that the current price for rock phosphate is approximately about US$100/metric tonne? Reference http://www.mongabay.com/images/commodities/charts/phosphate_rock.html
Exporting phosphate rock at these prices does not seem profitable at all.
What am i missing here, unless prices go up why proceed?
