Cauldron Energy Ltd., formerly Scimitar Resources Limited, is principally engaged in mineral exploration. The Company has acquired a portfolio of uranium projects in the Western Australia, Northern Territory and South Australia. Its projects include Yanrey Uranium Project, Lake Frome Uranium Project, Eclipse Uranium Project, Amadeus Project and Mount Elvire Project. The Yanrey project covers sediments that are prospective for sandstone hosted roll front uranium mineralization. The company has nine granted Exploration Licenses covering four project areas in the Lake Frome region of South Australia. The Eclipse Uranium Project consists of four granted exploration licenses and three license applications covering 7,934 square kilometers in the Ngalia Basin. Amadeus Project has three granted exploration licenses covering 2,780 square kilometers of the Amadeus Basin, adjacent to the Pamela and Angela uranium deposits. In June 2009, the Company and Jackson Minerals Limited merged.
