As you have done, is what I do, I pick up the phone, people like to talk to people, make it personal...the adage I have always lived by in business is to treat every day in business as if it is your first.
It is amazing how relatively easy it is to gain new clients and business just by calling and talking to them. Usually their current arrangement has an annual contact or a contact only when some thing is wanted. I have always called my clients regularly just to say hello and see how they are going, not wait for their call. Works for me too...
I hope to sell the house sooner rather than later, it will free up some funds to re invest into more property...unlike many I still believe in bricks and mortar. Those that wish to rent still have to rent some one's property and it may as well be mine!
