I have been busy and just logged in for a read.
A number of good points raised.
The good thing about RIC's debt is that it is mostly in the US in US$ held by RCL paying US rates which, unlike ours, have not been moving up and as well as being renogiated RCL has been reducing the burden with pay downs.
I concur with Forrest's view about tax because I made a decision to hold for that reason - and have picked up growth in the meantime. And yes Forrest you did have every chance, remember?
The poor agricultural conditions should increase the amount of feed sold even though animals have been sold off on the margin.
I intend to continue to hold as RIC has not come off a great deal and should run when the market turns back into a northerly phase.
