    @yasoooo the name for God, יְהוָה , in the Hebrew scriptures, did not include vowels which were later lost, so the pronunciation of the word for God is also lost. You are correct in that the pronunciation, Jehovah, can be excluded as a possibility because Jehovah could not have been pronounced in the languages of the time.

    The name Jehovah is a made up name, and so is Allah. I did not get the origin of the name Allah from Speaker's Corner, so you will probably dismiss my source out of hand so I wont bother to repeat it here.

    Compared to problems faced by @MrGordon and yourself made up names for God are the least of your problems. One of the biggest problems faced by both of you is that you both think that you don't have problems.

    You both think you are right about religion. What is certain is that you can't both be right and that you can both be wrong.
