    My feeling is that it is better to buy and sell in the same market if is his PPR - who knows what the market will do BUT if it went up significantly the emotional cost would be high. Also Dalek's response makes sense.

    If it was an investment - no probs - if market goes down - cool - if it goes up - just like not being on a share that you liked and missed - bad luck. PPR is a different story in my view.

    The thing with property is that if you have been holding for a while you really don't get too fussed with either the ups or downs - it is that kind of investment vehicle. Again PPR is a different story if you are out of the market IMHO.
