My LIC pecking order is :1) AUI, DUI2) ARG3) MLT, CHO, BKI...

My LIC pecking order is :

1) AUI, DUI
2) ARG
3) MLT, CHO, BKI (*)

.
.
.
distant 4) AFI, DJW, MIR

No other LIC has investment merit.

(*) MLT, CHO, BKI are the Millner Brothers stable of LIC's.
CHO is basically a play on banks.
The reason I rank those 3 below ARG, DUI, AUI is because they include some eccentric choices such as :
New Hope
SP Telemedia
API
BKW
SOL
Nothing wrong with those but in case you havent noticed, the Millners are directors in all of these.
They are experienced businessmen and they now how money is made.

(As an aside, I have a bias for people who bring business operation skills to investment and against those who have been in Financial Services all their lives, like stockbrokers, traders, analysts etc. The latter group dont understand business).
