Tony Abbott: There should be a ceasefire. It should be a ceasefire immediately by both sides. That’s what there should be, because plainly, too many people are dying. It’s just wrong what’s happening, so there should be a ceasefire. In the end, what we do need to work towards is a lasting solution in the Middle East, and that is a two-state solution where the Palestinians do accept Israel’s right to exist behind secure borders.
