Wongs a DH. First you have the developed middle east Saudi Arabia,UAE,Egypt,Jordon,Bahrain ,Qater all with developing cultures,and Israel.These countries want to just get on with life.
Then you have Iran and Iran backed countries lebanon,Yemen,Gaza,Iraq led by houthis,hamas and hezbala and just to make it worse ISIS one and two who hates everyone and ISIS ONE hates ISIS two.and ISIS just bombed Iran..
And DH Wong believes a two state solution is the solution.DH should understand Hamas does not want a 2 state solution they want Israel gone.
