The Republic of Ireland intends to recognise the State of Palestine
within weeks and, IMI, Aus and others are simply following that:

IMO a UN motion in favour of the State of Palestine would be carried by a vast majority vote.
Of course many on this thread while paying lip service to democracy will not argee
with a majority UN vote on the topic.In other words, democracy is OK only when it
supports an agenda!
