Certainly resulted in more stringent monitoring & focus but the environmental controls were designed in a decade ago, and as far as we know have functioned as designed from the outset.
Legacy of NC's experience inside China, he knew their production methods were unsustainable, and unacceptable ROW. In many regards LAMP was "over designed", fortunately that appears to apply to enviro controls.
On a general note, new emission standard affecting most on the Gebeng estate & elsewhere reducing emissions 550 > 100 (sorry, forgotten the details) with two years to comply. Lynas already meeting the new standard, most others haven't even started working towards it, from what I've seen they do take their responsibilities very seriously.
