Hamas has always been a religious extremist group - much like AQ (later morphed into ISIS) was under Osama Bin Laden. It was a proxy that went wrong for the US and they spent two decades to put down AQ/ISIS.
Similarly, Netanyahu cultivated and sponsored Hamas to achieve his goal of ruining any possible peace deal with the Palestinian. That was what he spent nearly 2 decades of doing.
He didn't care about Hamas's charter.
He didn't care after wars with Hamas in 2012; in 2014 and in 2021 (before the current one).
He didn't care about the deaths of Israelis in all those wars.
In all that time, he continued to funnel money to Hamas - up $30M a month!!!
Even Qatar had second thought about sending "Cash" to Hamas and sought advice from the US.
And if you watched the video I posted, Netanyahu sent his Ministers to the US, to greenlight the transfer of cash.
Who does that??? Would you???
Well, Netanyahu did. His objective was to wreck any peace deal with the Palestinian.
