For a start imo Australia/Wong should not be using our rare earth mineral reserves as part of the tariff negotiations. Wong 'should' understand its imperative the US military / commercial chip makers get access to these minerals in order to counter chinas basic monopoly of rare earths/AI chips required to defend the US and Australia from china.
Numunt should say Marco you develop the reserves we expect a commercial return and we will reduce red tape etc etc.Imo this would help tariff negotiations and counter a little the way Trump feels about Albo etc.(not Rudd)
